About Rotary

Rotary International is a global network of over 1 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

The Rotary Club of Clay County meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at noon at Hinton Rural Life Center. The Club was chartered in 2011 and is committed to community-based projects and Rotary International’s “Service Above Self” motto.  Business and community leaders are welcome to visit our Club if there is an interest in giving back to our community! Items of Special Interest

  • Information pertaining to the COVID-19 vaccines is very important to all of us. A special section COVID-19 Vaccine Information has been added to provide recent and updated information from the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
  • The very popular annual Car-B-Que will be back this year! Join us Saturday, June 5, 2021 on the square in downtown Hayesville, NC for the Annual Car-B-Que! Food, fun, and cars! Earnings from this event support our annual scholarships. Each year we award an academic scholarship and a vocational scholarship to deserving Hayesville High School students, and if they maintain their grades through school, we renew that scholarship each year. Sometimes we have eight scholarships we are supporting in any given year. This event is a fun way to help support our scholarship program for future community leaders!
