About the Rotary Club of Clay County

The Rotary Club of Clay County is a local chapter of Rotary International. Rotary International is a global network of over 1 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

The Rotary Club of Clay County meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday at noon at Hinton Rural Life Center. The Club was chartered in 2011 and is committed to community-based projects and Rotary International’s “Service Above Self” motto.  Business and community leaders are welcome to visit our Club if there is an interest in giving back to our community! • PLEASE NOTE: The 2021 CAR-B-QUE has been cancelled. Despite the great local publicity provided by our partners, there will NOT be a CAR-B-QUE on June 5th, 2021. The pandemic has prevented us from being able to hold it this year. We are hoping to bring it back in 2022 on the first Saturday in June.
  • Information pertaining to the COVID-19 vaccines is very important to all of us. A special section COVID-19 Vaccine Information has been added to provide recent and updated information from the NC Department of Health and Human Services.
